Santa Ana River Desperados
The Santa Ana River Desperados group is a member of the Reenactment Guild of America and is a
Wild West Stunt team of the Old West. They want to fill your hearts with fun and some good
down home learning to boot. Their encampments display the way it was in the late 1800's. The
canvas camp tent, saddles and bedrolls, and a campfire powered by buffalo chips provide a
feeling that you just stepped off a time machine into the 1800's. They tell jokes and stories
and even sing a bit to liven things up. Their old west reenactments are true to the period.
They use .45 long colt smoke wagons, double barrel shotguns, and derringers all fired with
blanks in a safe manner. Their costuming is period correct.
