This is a ring for all survival-related websites. Time and again, in country after country, the news reports the same thing: volcanoes, earthquakes, floods, tidal waves, and hurricanes. Global warming, El Niño, La Niña, another ice age, greenhouse effect, volcanos, earthquakes, disappearing rainforests, fire, floods, droughts, possible asteroid strike...these are but a few of the possibilities in store for humanity over the next century. While some claim Armageddon approaches and others claim that these are just natural disasters, the increasing frequency of disasters makes one wonder if Mother Earth is finally getting even. Regardless of the cause, one thing is certain: only the distaster-prepared will fare well.
