The Fortress RingHistory > Military History
A collection of sites dedicated to military fortification in the period 1450 to 1950. Individual sites are concerned either with a single fortification, fortress systems [Maginot Line etc.], famous engineers, siege warfare, or the theory of fortress design and armament. Ring sites come in various languages, but all are well illustrated. So that, even without understanding the text, each site is well worth a visit.

Cleared of the vegetation which covered it and in course of restoration, the Fort is today accessible to visitors thanks to this association of volunteers. The Forum is dedicated to fortifications around Paris in general, and not only Fort Sucy.
