The Taoism webring has been in existence since 1998, and is a collection of websites related to Taoism and Taoist topics. Tao (or Dao) means "path" or "way", although it has taken on more abstract meanings. Taoist propriety and ethics emphasize the Three Jewels of the Tao: compassion, moderation, and humility. Taoist thought generally focuses on nature, health, longevity, wu wei (effortless action), liberty, immortality and spontaneity. Sites in this ring offer content relating to all of the above, and also yin-yang, Tao-te ching, I-ching, Lao-tzu, plus personal reflections and experiences relating to the way of Taoism.
