Anything and everything about the symphony orchestra, and orchestral music. Orchestral groups and individual sites are represented here. The symphony orchestra was developed in Europe, and has now been established all across the world. Symphonies have been written for full orchestra, as well as string orchestras. They usually consist of three or four movements, starting and ending with a vigorous movement with a quiet, peaceful movement in the middle. This webring not only provides information about the symphonies in the repertoire, but also about symphony orchestras from around the world. The word "philharmonic" means "love of harmony." Yorkshire's friendliest Community Orchestra.
Established in 1991 by Musical Director James Morgan, the HVO has gone from strength to strength. We give regular concert's in the Huddersfield area and had our first foreign visit to France in 2009. Appearances have included Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Holmfirth Music and Art Festival, Holmfirth Film Festival and BBC Look North. We always welcome enquiries from potential members and actively encourage young players to join. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings during term time at Holmfirth High School.

The Four Seasons Orchestra is an all professional, twenty-five member ensemble located in Scottsdale, Arizona. This excellent classical orchestra was founded in 1991 by conductor Carolyn Waters Broe and has performed at many public and private events in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.
