Movie Icons
This is a brief look at some of the most compelling transgender movie icons to date. Most of these have challenged social constructs, on the big screen, as they pertain to themes in gender identity. A couple of these include priviledge and acceptance. In addition, these "relatable characters" have helped to increase visibility of the alternative community at large.
