Wide World of Southdown Sheep

World of Sheep-Southdown is a collection of websites providing information on this British sheep breed. It was originally developed 200 years ago. Today there are two subgroups of Southdown sheep, one for commercial production and another, baby doll southdown sheep, for hobby sheep farmers. The commercial sheep are larger than the original breed. Owners of baby dolls claim they are closer in size to the original breed. Experienced breeders, new breeders, and even those just wanting a few sheep will find valuable information and sources for lambs in this webring.

Elderberry Farm

At Elderberry Farm, we raise gorgeous, registered, white and coloured, Olde English Babydoll Southdown sheep. We also have other rare breeds available: unregistered Romney and Polwarth sheep and llamas. We sell the fibres for handspinning and yarns for knitting and weaving.

Babydoll sheep or their more formal name Olde English Southdown’s sheep have been a wonderful addition to our family farm and can be a wonderful addition to your family that will give you years of pleasure. We apply only the best in breeding practices making every attempt to enhance the best qualities at the same time keeping the bloodlines far apart producing healthy Babydoll lambs.
