Keyboard Instruments > Organ Webring dedicated to the promotion, ressources and concerns of the professional concert and liturgical organist. Yes, and silent film theater organs, too! This ring includes the sites of world-renowned organists, who play in churches or concertize. They play many different wonderful works that can take the spirit into the heavens, including the works of Buxtehude, Bach, Dupre, Durufle, Jongen Rheinburger, Vierne, Widor, and Franck. Other organists here have kept alive the tradition of organ playing as part of a silent film performance, where their playing helps to enhance the mood of the scene. This recently revived art also includes the restoration of historical theater organs. The organ photo is of the pipe organ in Saint-Germain l'Auxerrois, Paris.
