20th Century > World War II This webring is a collection of personal accounts of courage, bravery, heroism, determination, and, at times, just plain survival in Germany during and immediately following the stressful and turbulent period of World War II. It has been said that whoever ignores history is bound to repeat it. This is a non-political, historical ring that tries to examine what it was like during Germany's darkest hour to be a soldier, housewife, schoolchild, prisoner of war, and concentration camp inmate.
