First Battalion Maryland Loyalists
Raised in 1777, The First Battalion Maryland Loyalists was comprised mostly of men from the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Numbering over 300, these men remained loyal to King and Country and fought to suppress this “unnatural rebellion” and protect Maryland.
