A family friendly ring containing sites related to Vue d'Esprit, a software package for creating landscapes and all types of 3D imagery. Included are image galleries, tutorials, file exchanges and anything else related to Vue d'Esprit. Designed in France, Vue offers some unique capabilities, the most noted of which is the ability of the program to design individual plants of a certain species. When you choose a plant, every time you place another of the same plant, the branches and leaves are arranged differently from the others. Vue is excellent for making scenes in nature, or rooms and buildings, and can handle imported models. More advanced versions of Vue allow people to design plants that are not in the library. Vue can be used to make abstract images such as hubisms. The company runs a daily challenge to present one image made in Vue, and has a very large gallery of these. This webring will introduce you to this wonderful and versatile program. The image was made from basic elements that come with the program. Art by Pat Goltz.
