Listed in: Visual Arts > Photography Architectural photography includes everything from photos of the pyramids and of ancient religious buildings of Asia, to the amazing new building designs that allow us to rise into the sky. It can also include tiny gazebos and sumptuous palaces. It can include tiny details, to panoramas of cities. It can include sculptural architecture. It might focus on textures, or reflections in the windows of another building. It includes photos of the houses which have indigenous designs, as well as temporary homes such as igloos and teepees. Stained glass in a cathedral is another example of an architectural element. These can often provide some very interesting lighting for other elements as well. Some photographers like to form a collection of doors and other such elements. A study such as this is welcome here. |
