Stan Lee's Destroyer
Stan 'the Man' Lee's very first superhero creation was The Destroyer. A hero whose intended purpose was to combat Nazism, The Destroyer is interesting not only because it is a well-conceived character enjoying good scripting and well-styled art, but because of what it tells us about the early creative tendencies of the Incredible Stan Lee. Herein lay the roots of Mighty Marvel.
