1st Div, 2nd Bn, 16th Inf, Rangers, C Co Vietnam
Men who served and fought hard in Vietnam for the Big Red One--1st Division, 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry, Rangers, Charlie Company aka The Mudsoldiers. From before Vietnam to Vietnam and up to Present. Battle of Xa Cam My--134 men April 11-66 fought 400 NVC D 8002 MOH--42 died, 80% casaualties,only 25 were left to go back to base that next day--Valorous Unit Citation, many Silver and Bronze stars and all CIB's, purple hearts--the reunions we have, agent orange and PTSD. The real story from over 60 survivors of that battle and Vietnam experiences from over 250 soldiers from C Co during Vietnam I have located.
