Want to earn some extra cash? Starting this December, we have increased the amount of money you can earn when someone becomes a WebRing member through your efforts.
You can take advantage of our revised program in one of two ways:
 - Post our eye-catching affiliate button on your site.
- Use our "Tell-A-Friend" service.
Payouts vary based on your membership level, as well as the type of membership the new member chooses. If you are a 1.0 member, you can earn up to $3.50 per new member. And if you are a 2.0 member, you can earn up to $7.50 per sign up.
Use our Tell-A-Friend service, and we will DOUBLE your payout. That means that as a 2.0 member, you can earn up to $15 for each new sign up!

Ideal NavBar Placement
The NavBar is what distinguishes WebRing from other social networks. The NavBar links one site to an entire network of sites and accumulates traffic from all the sites within any given WebRing Community.
In short, the NavBar provides strength in numbers. A hit to one site means a hit to all the sites within a Community. So if you’ve joined WebRing as a way to gain traffic to your site and you haven’t installed the NavBar on your site, you are missing out.
Most of you already understand the importance of the NavBar, but many ask: "Where should I place the NavBar on my site?" Here are some guidelines that will optimize the NavBar's impact on your web site traffic:
- Place the NavBar in a prominent place, like the top or bottom of your page, or in the side links.
- Select your most "on-topic" web page. If you’ve joined the Recipe WebRing, then you should place the NavBar on a page that contains recipes, for example.
- Register separate URLs and place unique NavBars on additional pages that cover different topics.
The key to ideal placement is "Prominence." The easier you make the NavBar to find, the more effective it will work, and the more traffic your site will receive.
