WebRing Community Managers Agreement
Thanks for your expressed interest in creating/adopting a WebRing Community. Before we will consider you as a WebRing Community Manager (Ring Manager), you must first read and agree to the conditions that follow.
Rules of Conduct:
- Ring Managers will process new submissions (pendings) in a timely manner, taking no longer than one week to do so, preferrably within 24 hours.
- Ring Managers will frequently visit active member sites to ensure that the sites contain properly functioning NavBars, continue to provide content that matches its description, and maintain relevancy to the Community's theme.
- Ring Managers will respect a diversity of opinion and make decisions based on what is best for the WebRing Community and its membership.
- Ring Managers will fearlessly establish guidelines and restrictions to address such issues as prohibiting links pages, limiting number of memberships, requiring main page placement, reporting navigation issues, and removing outdated/off topic sites.
- Ring Managers will keep an open line of communication with members, regardless of their status within the WebRing Community.
- Ring Managers regularly infuse their WebRing Communities by inviting new members, communicating regularly with their existing members and inciting forum use (to name a few).
- Ring Managers who bid on adoptable WebRing Communities via Auction Central will do so with the intent of improving their newly won Communities, not for the purpose of merging or deleting them.
In "signing off" on this agreement, you agree to follow all of the rules of conduct presented above. If you violate or neglect to follow any of the rules of conduct, you may have management rights to the WebRing Community revoked. We will not refund any Activity Points used to "purchase" an adoptable WebRing Community if you lost it due to a violation of the rules of conduct stated above.
