Processing New Submissions that don't exist after an alert - 01/01/2010
I keep getting a process new submission alert when there is nothing to process.

Between October 2009 and December 2009 there are no less than 10 such reports in my email, but no submissions to the ring pending management of submissions. What is the issue?

I have checked most of new members of webring and emailed a few of the most recent webring members and ring applicants from December (3) through wrmail.

1. Other members and super users may have already processed your pending submissions.
2. Members who applied may withdraw their submission if they don't hear "quickly"
3. New submissions are automatically conditionally approved after a period of time. The manager can then review them later but at least the member application is processed in a reasonable amount of time.

It's not an issue that needs to be fixed. read teh previous post on the thread.

For information, I had a system email referring to a new applicant site:
"We automatically created a webpage and added the NavBar for them."
Neither URL link led to any webpage. I tried to email the person through
WebRing but have so far had no reply.
My ID is vicvoss and the ring is ncwr.
The alert referred to Adam Wilson, adam62385 and gave the address as

It would appear the user started a webpage but did not finish.
Myabe they will in a day or so, especially if they get encouragement.

It was just that the alert said "We automatically created a webpage and added the NavBar for them" and a site URL was given. I did send an encouraging email.

nice. even if this guy doesn't someone will if we keep encouraging :)
The page *was* created and all, but perhaps as he/she got started they changed their mind....
